“To commemorate the 200th anniversary of [the Brothers Grimm anthology Children's & Household Tales], Goethe-Institut New Zealand, in collaboration with the New Zealand Listener and the International Institute of Modern Letters (Victoria University of Wellington), invited Kiwis to write their own Grimm style fairy tale for the modern day. Over 300 wonderful entries were received, laced with both local and international elements. The Goethe-Institut published the entries on a blog and readers were encouraged to vote for their favourites.”

I designed the illustrations and layout of this book.
Each ‘O’ was illustrated with key elements in each story.
